SnapYT is built to need as little of your information as possible. There are no accounts, and we don't track what you convert. Here's exactly what that means.
What we don't collect
You don't make an account, so we hold no profile, no password, and no history of your conversions. We don't log which videos you convert against any identity, and we don't sell or share personal data, because we never gather it.
The one thing we store
If you support SnapYT on Ko-fi, we receive and store the email tied to that donation. We use it only to send your activation key, and to resend it if you ask. That is the only personal data SnapYT keeps.
Your browser
When you activate supporter status, we keep a small token in your browser so you don't re-enter your key each visit. It stays on your device and is not shared. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Logs and security
Like any site, our servers keep short-lived technical logs (IP addresses, error records) to keep things running and fend off abuse. We front the site with Cloudflare. These are operational, not marketing, and are not used to profile you.
Third parties
A few services help SnapYT run: Cloudflare for security and delivery, Ko-fi for donations, and Resend for the activation email. Each sees only what it needs, and each has its own privacy policy.
Converted files
Files are cached briefly on our servers so a popular conversion is fast, then deleted automatically. They aren't tied to you.
